AMY'S Place lies on the north-western edge of Prince Albert. The co-ordinates are: 

 

33.13.04 South ~ 22.01.37 East

 

From Oudtshoorn, you enter Prince Albert from the south. Drive into town, bearing right into Kerkstraat. Proceed through town watching for the Police Station on your left. At the next crossroad turn left into Margrieta Prinsloo Road. At the stop street turn right into Mark Street. AMY'S Place is the second house on the left.

From the N1, take the Prince Albert turn off at Prince Albert Road. Drive 45km to the village. Proceed past the BP Garage and Home Hardware on your left. Margrieta Prinsloo Road is the second street on your right, turn right into Margrieta Prinsloo Road. At the stop street turn right into Mark Street. AMY'S Place is the second house on the left.

 

 

 

Prince Albert lies in the Central Karoo at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains. The village is just two hours drive from the Garden Route and an hour from Route 62. You can also reach us by travelling up the N1 from Cape Town and turning right at Prince Albert Road, a four hour drive. All roads are tarred except for the Swartberg Pass, which is a well maintained gravel road,  the tarred road through Meiringspoort providing an alternative route between Oudtshoorn and Prince Albert.

Approximate times from Prince Albert to:

Prince Albert Road - 30 mins

Oudtshoorn - 1 hour 15 mins

George - 2 hours

Knysna - 2 hours 30 mins

Beaufort West (The Karoo National Park) - 1 hour 30 mins

Cape Town - 4 hours
